Echo Cold Rooms commenced in March 1997 as a manufacturer and supplier of insulated panels. We occupy ± 4500m² factory and office space which is owned by our property company, owned by the same shareholders. Our earlier projects included cold and freezer rooms, cold stores, abattoirs and chicken houses in both South Africa and neighbouring countries.

By making use of our own transport, we ensure that all materials are delivered timeously and in pristine condition.

In order to promote and favour our panel manufacturing side, we decided to supply panels to refrigeration contractors and corporate clients. We therefore shifted our focus to manufacturing and construction of panels only.

Echo Cold Rooms will strive to stay acquianted of new trends and developments in the panel manufacturing industry, ensuring our continued place as a leading panel manufacturer in South Africa. We passionately research and pursue improvements in manufacturing.

Echo Cold Rooms will always endeavour to preferably avoid or at least minimize disruption and destruction of existing eco systems.

Upon completion of a project, all rubble is removed from the site. At the factory, polystyrene off-cuts are granulated for recycling and other waste products are disposed of in the manner rescribed by the municipal council.
